(Ruth) Helen Stone, 86, formerly of North Jackson, PA entered into rest on February 21, 2017.  She was predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years, Frederick Stone.

Helen is survived by five sons, James and Mary Stone, Jack and Patti Stone, Robert and Karen Stone, Gary and Barb Stone, Roger and Laura Stone; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Donald and Barbara Stone, Elson Stone; and many nieces and nephews.  She was also predeceased by three brothers, Everett, Oscar, Paul, and a sister, Elizabeth.

Prior to her retirement, Helen worked at Barnes-Kasson Hospital as a Registered Nurse.  She and Fred enjoyed many years of traveling by motorcycle and RV.  They joined the North Jackson United Methodist Church in 1951 and remained active members throughout their lives.  Helen’s greatest joy was her family.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Barnes-Kasson SNF for their compassionate care.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the North Jackson United Methodist Church.  Friends may call from 9-11, prior to the service at the church.
