Paul Joseph Barnes

Paul Joseph Barnes went to be with the Lord on January 21, 2017. Paul, born June 15, 1963 was a former resident of The Laurel Hill Apartment's, as well as their Maintenance Man for many years. Paul was a graduate of The Susquehanna High School. He was employed at Lakey's Bar doing maintenance and other jobs asked of him. Paul cut grass and shoveled snow for many of his friends and neighbors and he was always willing to help anyone in need. Paul was kind, thoughtful and he loved his daughter and grandchildren.

Paul had been formally married to Vicky Sullivan and was father to Valerie Barnes and was step father to Tom and Ed Carroll and Donald Carroll, who preceded him in 2008. Paul Loved his grand daughter, Taylor Coleman and his grandson, Kory Williams.

Paul will be missed by his daughter, step sons, grandchildren, his very close and dear friends, his former neighbor’s at the Laurel Hill Apartment's and all those who knew him and have the fondest memories of Paul.

We will miss you Paul, because you are dearly Loved.

Rest Peacefully, Paul in The Arms of Jesus.

Benita Mae Lake

Benita Mae Lake, 64 of Susquehanna, PA passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017 in Jackson, PA after an illness.

Benita was predeceased by her father, Donald Arthur Lake and husband, Larry James Phillips.

She was survived by her mother, Joan Lake; son, Larry James Phillips Jr.; brother, Donald Arthur Lake Jr. and Linda; grandchildren, Samantha Phillips, Brett Phillips, and Rhonda Phillips; two great-grandchildren; uncles, Daniel and Cheryl Rupakus, William and Ida Rupakus; nephew, Donald Arthur Lake III and Natasha; close friend, Betty; and many cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
