Carol A. Grosvenor, 78, of New Milford, PA peacefully entered into rest on January 4, 2017.  She was predeceased by her first husband, Robert Whalen; her second husband, Roderick Grosvenor; a brother, Richard Gumaer.

She is survived by her three children, Thomas Robert Whalen, Cynthia Fisher, Cathleen and Chris Tracy; six grandchildren, Bradley, Alexis, Dale, Miranda, Emily, Greg, Katheryn; one great-granddaughter, Abigail Rose; two sisters, Nancy Page, Linda Gaige; several nieces and nephews.

Carol was a member of the First United Methodist Church, New Milford, PA.  She enjoyed her time in Okechobee, FL and her dear friends there. Carol also had many close friends in the Creekside Apartments in New Milford, PA.  She was a lifelong volunteer in Florida and Pennsylvania.  Carol was fond of crocheting and involved with a wonderful group of ladies on Tuesday evenings.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Hospice of the Sacred Heart and the Area Agency on Aging for all their assistance.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church, New Milford, PA.

Spring internment will be made in Lakeview Cemetery.

Friends may call from 10 A.M. until the service begins at the church on Saturday.
