Hate Trumps Love Afterall

November 8, 2016, a day which will live in infamy.  America chose to go Fascist.  The choice will be a fateful one.  Perhaps even a fatal one for this country.

Looking forward (if anyone can do that anymore) our number one priority must be to make sure that Herr Trump is a one-term Fuehrer.  No one can complain about this, since the GOP already tried that regarding President Obama.  The precedent is established.

The Democrats must strive to obstruct absolutely everything Herr Trump tries to do.  No one can complain about that, because the GOP already did this regarding both Presidents Obama and Clinton.  We should keep the Supreme Count seat vacant for the entire term-- the GOP already called for that to happen.

Actually, they should set out to impeach Agent Orange over piddling nonsense.  No one can complain about that, since that's what the GOP did to President Clinton.

Herr Trump repeatedly insisted that the system is rigged.  He just proved it wasn't, not in the Democrats' favor at any rate.  The Democrats should now really rig the system in advance of the 2020 election (if any) so they can steal that one (assuming there's anything left worth stealing).  No one can complain about that, since the Republicans stole it from Gore in 2000.  And we paid a terrible price for it.

The harder core of the Trumpistas wanted to bring everything crashing down.  Even RNC Chair Priebus echoed their slogan, "Blow up Washington".  At last I agree with them:  Destroy it all.  (Including your Social Security.  You can keep working til you die, and starve if you no longer can.)  Let the economy collapse-- something President Obama shouldn't have bothered to prevent. America deserves it.

Going Fascist is a dreadful decision.  It's always hard to step back from, and usually only after it brings utter disaster.  I tried to stop it-- now I wash my hands of the whole thing.  America is OVER.

Sincerely,

Stephen Van Eck

Rushville, PA

EDITORS NOTE: WOW Stephen! You might want to head for a border, any border (quick) before it’s too late. Cuba sounds like a good fit.

S-W-E-E-T

How S-W-E-E-T Donald Trump's spectacular victory to be elected President is! Not only was it stunningly spectacular for him, but it was the majority of the voters of Pennsylvania that delivered the last 20 Electoral College votes he needed to get 274 Electoral votes to win the Election. The fact that Trump won the election, in spite of all the “fire power rock stars”.

Celebrities like Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen that appeared in Philadelphia supporting Hillary Clinton November 7th makes Trump's election even S-W-E-E-T-E-R! What a payback this nasty Election was for the Democrats in the end.

Let’s hope and pray that Donald Trump can and will unite this country now, and that he will eventually be able to make things better for all of us, if all of us give him the time and chance to do just that.

Sincerely,

John Hollenback

Greenfield Twp., Pa.
