Celia Barechio

Celia Barechio, 103, of Susquehanna, Pa. passed way Thursday, June 16, 2016 at the Skilled Nursing Facility of Barnes Kasson Hospital. Celia was born in Forest City, Pa on October 21, 1912 the daughter of the late William and Mikalina Mileskay.

She was married to Albert Barechio, who preceded her in death in 1963. Also preceding her in death was a daughter, Josephine Marshall and son-in-law, Joseph Marshall; four sisters Jean Shalna, Veronica Kucinski, Aldona Bagniewski, Marion Sellitto, one brother, Joseph Mileskay.

Celia is survived by two daughters, Mary Rose and son-in-law, Richard Rossi of Santa Rosa, CA, Cecelia Furkay of Neptune Beach, FL; seven grandchildren, Michael Rossi of Missoula, MT, Karen Brockman, Petaluma, CA, Kristen Smith, Harrisburg, Pa., Jennifer and Robert McManus, Jacksonville Beach, FL, Carrie and David Hinkley, Hallstead, Pa. Stephanie D’Argenio, Yardley, Pa., Shelley and Thomas Doyle, Yardley, Pa.; seven great-grandchildren, Daniel and Emily Brockman, Regan McManus, Benjamin and Megan Hinkley, Sydney D’Argenio, Julia and Olivia Doyle.

Arrangments by Hennessey's Funeral Home ,747 Jackson Ave., Susquehanna, PA.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

JAMES W. WHITMAN, SR.

James W. Whitman, Sr, 64, of New Milford Township, PA entered into rest on July 5, 2016 with his loving family by his side. He was predeceased by his beloved wife; Reta in June 2012, and his great grandson, Creedon.

James is survived by three children, Alicia and Jeff Conroy, James Jr., and Jason; five grandchildren, Brittney, Courtney, Jeffrey, Kristen, Cheyenne; two great-grandchildren, Braylynn and Bentley; six brothers; four sisters; numerous nieces and nephews; friends who were claimed as family, John and Sabrina Graves, Briana, and John Michael.

The family wishes to thank our friends for always helping out and being available for whatever was needed.

James enjoyed caring for his property, especially mowing the lawn.  He took great joy in spending time with his family and missed Reta immensely.

A funeral service was be held Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc, Hallstead, PA.

Interment took place on the family homestead following the service.
