Marie J. Wayman

Marie J. Wayman, 85, of Susquehanna, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at the Barnes Kasson SNF in Susquehanna, PA.

Marie was predeceased by her parents, Egbert and Hazel Riley and her loving husband, Raymond L. Wayman Sr.

She was survived by her 10 children, Norine and Ronald Edwards, Afton, NY, Linda and Frank Scadifi, Alachua, FL, Joan and James Rogers, Apalachin, NY, Graydon and Nancy Wayman, Melrose, PA, Charles and Dorothy Wayman, Hallstead, PA, Ester and Robert Buchannan, Stevens Point, PA, William and Barbara Wayman, Melrose, PA, Steven and Linda Wayman, Morris, NY, Marie and Earl Butts, Melrose, PA, Raymond Wayman Jr of Roust Point, NY.; 5, sisters Marion Omsly, Roberta Snow, Evelyn Conklin, Maxine Stroup; Donna Palmatier; 1 brother, David Riley; 28 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Marie was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Windsor, NY. She spent several years caring for and raising her children and then went to work at Matis’s manufacturing in Susquehanna, Pa until her retirement. Marie will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.

A Funeral Service was be held at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA, with Brian Wells Sr. officiating.

Interment will be held in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeview, PA.

The family would like to thank the staff and doctors at the Barnes Kasson SNF for their excellent care of Marie.

Janice L. Wayman

Janice L. Wayman, 78, of Hallstead, PA was called home to be with the Lord on March 11, 2016 and was also reunited with her husband, Harvey, who predeceased her in 2007, a daughter, Carolyn Cook in 2012, two grandsons, Aaron Jon Treible, and Wayne S. Wayman, Jr. She was the daughter of the late Merritt and Maebert Monell.

She is survived by four daughters, Elaine and Ronald Treible, Debra and Walt Bivens III, Sharon Wayman, Lena and Bill Dixon; three sons, George Wayman, Wayne and Nicola Wayman, and Mark and Dianna Wayman; 24 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; two sisters, Carole Rohver, Wellsville, NY and Delores Matterson, Angelica, NY; one aunt; several cousins; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Janice worked for 18 years with GE, which became Lockheed Martin, before retiring in 2000. She was a member of the Franklin Hill Presbyterian Church. Janice was a very driven independent woman who insisted on caring for others regardless of her own declining health. She was an excellent wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. We will miss her smile, her laugh, and her amazing sense of humor.

A funeral service was held at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc., Hallstead, PA.

A private interment will be made in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions in her memory may take the form of a donation to the Franklin Hill Presbyterian Church, 400 Franklin Hill Road, Hallstead, PA 18822.
