Elizabeth F. Owens

Elizabeth F. Owens, 91, of Harford, PA, quietly left the bonds of this life to go to her heavenly rest on December eighth of two thousand fifteen.

She was the daughter of the late Daniel Lee Forsyth and Daisy Conrad Forsyth. She is survived by her son, Conrad Owens and his wife, Susan Owens of Harford; a nephew, Stanley Forsyth, and three nieces, Alice Watkins, Betty Ann Orndorf and Elenor Frank. She is predeced in death by her brothers, Stanley Forsyth, Rowe Forsyth, Winn Forsyth, Steven Forsyth and sisters, Gene Alt and Doris Crompton.

She worked for many years in the Harford Supermarket and upon her retirement became very active in many of the town’s organizations. She served as a deacon to the First Congregational Church of Harford and was the secretary/treasurer of the Harford Water Association for forty years.

The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice and the nurses and aids of Golden living Center for their loveing care during the final months and moments of Bettys life. A special thanks to Paster Will Hagenbuch for taking the time out of his day to go to her upon hearing of her imminent passing. There will be a memorial service held sometime in late January at the Harford Church.

Patrick J. Klym

Patrick J. Klym, 64, of Susquehanna, PA passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015, at the Barnes Kasson SNF, in Susquehanna, PA.

Patrick was predeceased by his parents, John and Josephine Klym and his one brother, Daniel Klym.

He was survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Roger Glover; brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Lillian Klym; sister-in-law, Carole Klym; five nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.

Patrick lived in Susquehanna, PA his entire life. He graduated from the Susquehanna Community High School. Following High School Patrick worked at the Hallstead Foundry and Matis’s Manufacturing. He was a member of the American Legion. His hobbies included doing puzzles and drawing. Patrick will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

A celebration of Patrick’s life will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Thompson United Methodist Church.
