On Sunday, September 27th, a coalition of local TEA Party groups from New York and northeast Pennsylvania joined in celebrating the 293rd birthday of Samuel Adams, the first Tea Party leader. The event, The First Annual Samuel Adams Day Dinner, was held at the Olive Garden Restaurant in Vestal, New York. Coordinators and members alike pledged their commitment to the pillars of the TEA Party: the restoration of Constitutional principles and values, the Rule of Law and free market capitalism.
