Glenn L. Collier

Glenn L. Collier, 63 of Washington St. Susquehanna, PA, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 7, 2013, at his home, after an illness.

He was predeceased by his parents Willard and Alice Collier of Susquehanna, PA.

Glenn was survived by his loving wife of 44 years Nancy Plutino Collier; two daughters and son-in-laws, Jennifer and Jace Hamlett, and Joelle and Andrew Napolitano; one son and daughter-in-law Glenn and Theresa Collier; five grandchildren, Sean, Madeline, Benjamin, Chloe and Emily; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Glenn served in the United States Army Reserves during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the St. John’s Church, Susquehanna, PA and the American Legion Post #86. Most of all Glenn was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at 10:00am at the St. John’s Church, Susquehanna, with Rev. David Cramer officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA, on Tuesday, September 10, 2013, from 5 to 8pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susquehanna Fire Department, PO Box 173, Susquehanna, PA, 18847.

Christopher E. Leonard

Christopher E. Leonard, 55, of Main St. Thompson PA, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2013, at his home after an illness.

Christopher was predeceased by his wife Robyn Leonard. He is survived by his parents Roger Edwin Leonard and Harriet Blanche Wheeler; his wife Cara Valentine Leonard; two sons Sean and Tyler Leonard; three daughters Angela and Tiara Leonard and Christine Lawson; four stepdaughters Cortney Valentine, Lauren Valentine, Kayla Valentine, Melissa Valentine: granddaughters Layla Lawson, Sahara Barker, Madison Watt, Rheanna Vlaentine and Malia Valentine; one brother Philip Leonard; and sisters Bonnie George and Terry Leonard; father-in-law & mother- in-law Henry & Carol Barnes, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws Joe and Rosie Bixby, Cindy Seaman, Paulette Taylor, Willard Donnelly, Donald Donnelly and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A private memorial service was held at the Thompson Baptist Church, Thompson, PA.
