“Buck”
Steve Leo Cady, “Buck”, 55, of Hallstead, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 25, 2013, at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. He was born in Montrose, PA. His mother, Betty Leola (Bennett) Cady, predeceased him in 2000.
Surviving is his father, Steve Cady and his wife, Marguerite, Kingsley, PA, four sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy Ann Brewer, Birchardville, PA, Donna and John Lesniak, Montrose, PA, Betty Sue and Richard Ainey, Kingsley, PA, Linda and Danny Bonham, Kingsley, PA, brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Chris Cady, Kingsley, PA, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Buck ran a small engine repair shop in Kingsley, PA. He enjoyed paranormal hunting and collecting wolf memorabilia. Buck would like to thank all his care givers who assisted him with his struggles with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, which he was diagnosed with at age 17. He was a caring and loving brother that will be missed by all that knew him.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 2, 2013, at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home. Montrose, PA, Rev. Robert C. Ford of Elisha’s Home Ministry, is officiating. Interment will be in the Cady Cemetery, Kingsley, PA. Visitations will be Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Guy R. Clift
Guy R. Clift, 82 of Susquehanna passed away on April 26, 2013 after an illness. He was predeceased by his parents Guy and Lila and his brother Stanley. Guy is survived by Ruth (Norton), his wife of 60 years, his daughters Terry Clift and Marcia and Jeffrey Potter, his sisters Audrey LaHoda, Janet Baxter and sister-in law Eileen, his grand-children Ian and Josie Potter, Stefan Potter with Courtney and Parker, Karly Potter with Ely, Devlin Conrad with his father Jim Conrad and Jim's daughters Mickie Conrad and her son Joey, K.C. Ulbig and her daughter Robin. His great-grandchildren Brayden and Owen, dear friends Carol and Danny Klym, many neices and nephews, and his dog, Babe.
Guy is well known as the manager of Matis Manufacturing for many years. He made beautiful wood carvings and furniture and he could fix or build anything. He loved sharing his pool with the town children and he had a love/hate relationship with golf. He would give money or a ride to anyone who needed it. Most of all he loved Susquehanna and at the end of the day didn't want to be anywhere else. He was a major presence for his family and friends and will be sorely missed.
The funeral Service was held on Tuesday April 30th at 11am at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, Pa. with Pastor Gary Day officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Susquehanna. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 to 11am. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society.
Laurence R. Grausgruber
Laurence R. Grausgruber, 77, of Susquehanna, PA, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at the Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY, after an illness. He was born on February 13, 1936, the son of the late Stephen J. and Melina Grausgruber.
Laurence was predeceased by his brothers Richard, John and Eugene Grausgruber.
He is survived by his brothers Stephen M. (Catherine) Grausgruber, Ernest (Mary Jane) Grausgruber, Gerald Grausgruber, Paul Grausgruber, all of Susquehanna, PA.; his sisters Christina (Lawrence) O’Reilly, of Friendsville, PA, Teresa (Michael) Vogel, of Hallstead, PA; his sister in-law Germaine Grausgruber of Susquehanna, PA; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Laurence was a member of St. John’s Church in Susquehanna, PA. He was a former employee at GAF Anitec, and International Paper. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Larry loved the sport of fishing and was a devout NY Yankees fan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at the St. John’s Church, in Susquehanna, PA, on Thursday, May 2, 2013, at 10:00 am, with Rev. David Cramer officiating.
Burial will be in held in the St. John’s Cemetery, Susquehanna, PA.
The family will receive friends at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA, on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
DONNA R. KSENICH
Donna R. Ksenich, 77, of New Milford, PA passed away peacefully on April 23, 2013. She was predeceased by her husband of almost 40 years, Philip Ksenich in July 2008.
She is survived by her children, Robert and Tsukie Caswell, San Diego, CA, Cathy and Larry Hall, Great Bend, PA, Thomas Caswell, Elmira, NY, Michael and Katie Ksenich, Lakeside, PA, and Cindy and Nathan LaFrance, Bella Vista, AR; grandchildren, Jun Caswell, Chad and Janelle Hall, Katie Hall, Corey Caswell, Cailyn Caswell, Caidyn Caswell, Max Ksenich, Ava Ksenich, Alyssa Hall, Zoe Jurbala, Ciara Jurbala, Olivia LaFrance, Noel LaFrance, and Ariana LaFrance; two brothers, Jack and Carol Glover and Richard and Jean Glover; two sisters, Janet and Dick Allen and Carol and Dick Baker; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Gail and Michael Brown.
Donna was of the Methodist Faith. She enjoyed playing games and cards with her friends and family. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and dedicated her life to raising her children and grandchildren.
A funeral service was held at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc. Friends may call from 3-5 p.m., prior to the service. Inurnment will be made in the Thompson Cemetery at a later date. Should friends so desire, expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to the Great Bend/Hallstead Volunteer Ambulance P.O. Box 793, Great Bend, PA 18821.
Evan Morgan Stone
Evan Stone, 17, of Thompson , PA , loving son, brother and great friend, died suddenly at home on April 24, 2013.
Born April 7, 1996, in Johnson City , NY , he was the son of Edward M. and the late Donna Jean Stone. He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna and three uncles: Alan Stone, Larry Peltz and Michael Stanko.
Evan is survived by his father, Edward, brother Eddie, both of Thompson; aunt and uncle, Pat and Tom Stone, Susquehanna; aunt, Debbie Stone of Somerset, NJ; aunt, Judy Peltz, Thompson; aunt and uncle, Jeanette and Tom Greig, Carbondale; aunt and uncle, Andrea and Bob Peltz, Colorado Springs, CO; aunt and uncle, Emily and Ted Hall, Susquehanna; and many cousins.
He was a junior at Susquehanna Community High School where he was a member of the basketball, volleyball and golf teams. Family and friends alike will always remember his room-brightening smile and huggable, laughable ways. He spent his life having fun, being a prankster, playing sports and video games, and making others feel good. He loved animals and children and was adored by his younger cousins who he always played with, wrestled with and entertained.
His early life was marked by tragedy with the death of his mother and although he was a beautiful, shining ray of light that went out much too soon, his family takes great comfort in the happy thought that he is with his mom now and of their joyous reunion.
A Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 from Hennessey Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave., Susquehanna, PA 18847. His final resting place will be the Ararat Cemetery.
Visiting Hours will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2013 from 3 to 8 p.m. and In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Evan Stone Memorial Fund, c/o People’s Bank, 215 Erie Blvd., Susquehanna, and PA18847.
Patricia Marie Tarbox
Patricia Marie Tarbox, 82, of Susquehanna, PA, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at home, after an illness.
She was born the daughter of the late Lee and Katherine (Mullins) Hillis. Patricia was predeceased by her loving husband Glenn E. Tarbox; two sons Michael and Mark Tarbox; two sisters Lorraine Pickering and Patty Hillis; and two brother-in-laws Edward Wood and Ivan Pickering.
She is survived by her four sons David (Cheryl) Tarbox, Matthew (Karen) Tarbox, James Tarbox, and John Tarbox; a daughter-in-law Jackie Tarbox; one brother Fred Hillis; two sisters Marge Wood and Rita Hillis; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Patricia was a member of the St. John’s Church in Susquehanna, PA, as well as a member of the Redhats. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at the St. John’s Church, in Susquehanna, PA, on Monday, April 29, 2013, with Rev. David Cramer officiating.
Burial held in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeside, PA.
The family would like thank Dr. DeWitt and his staff as well as the Hospice of the Sacred Heart for their care and comfort of Patricia during her illness.
