Want answers to your tough parenting questions? Want to meet other parents and get support, information and friendship? Then, come to the new “Coffee and Conversation” Parent Group!

Penn State Extension will host a weekly parenting group geared for parents with children of all ages. Each week the group will discuss a “hot topic” about kids and parenting and get answers and support to tough questions. The group will meet every Friday from 10:00am until 12:00pm, at the Susquehanna County Office Building, 81 Public Avenue, Montrose. There is no cost to participate. Just show up for coffee and conversation! Parents who cannot travel may be able to access the group through Skype.

Penn State Extension will offer weekly parenting classes geared for parents with children from birth to age seven. Classes will be held every Wednesday from November 14, 2012, through June 26, 2013, from 10:00am until 12:00pm, at the Susquehanna County Office Building, 81 Public Avenue, Montrose.

Each week, parents will learn the most current information about how babies and children grow and develop, how to guide children’s behavior, and how healthy eating promotes brain development. Parents can join at any time during the year. Once they have completed six sessions, they will receive a certificate.
