Candidate Forum

The League of Women Voters of Susquehanna County is sponsoring a candidates forum with: Pennsylvania’s 23rd District Republican Senator Gene Yaw and Democrat Ms. Luana Cleveland; Pennsylvania’s 111th Legislative District Republican State Representative Sandra Major and Democrat Mr.Jeffrey Dahlander.

The forum will be held on Tuesday, October 23rd from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Montrose Theatre, 38 Public Avenue in Montrose. Candidates will be asked questions prepared by the LWVSC and then they will answer written questions from the audience. All of the questions should be of interest to Susquehanna County’s citizens. The LWVSC is hoping for a large turnout for this very important and informative forum that will give voters in this November 6th’s election an idea about how the individual candidates stand on issues that directly impact the residents of Susquehanna County.

The League is a nonpartisan citizens organization that encourages informed and active participation in government.
