First Baptist Welcomes Pastor Peter Kelly

First Baptist Church, 957 Main St., New Milford, is proud to announce its new Pastor, Peter Kelly. Pastor Kelly has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Bible/Church Ministries and a Master of Arts Degree in Church Growth and Evangelism from Liberty University. He was the associate/senior Pastor at the West Hills Baptist Church in Portland, Oregon before moving back to Pennsylvania where he became very involved in teaching an adult Sunday school class and filling the pulpit when needed at the Northmoreland Baptist Church.

Now, Pastor Kelly has been living in Tunkhannock and mentoring a young pastor there. Feeling the call to again serve God in the ministry, he answered First Baptist’s need for a pastor. He and his wife, Janeen, are the parents of four children and have one grandson.

First Baptist is happy to begin this new segment of church history with the Kelly’s and invite any and all to join the church on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. for Sunday school and 10:45 a.m. for morning worship.
