Art Sale To Benefit Library, Historical Society

A new fundraiser for the Susquehanna County Historical Society & Free Library Association will be held in the Hall at St. Paul's Church (276 Church St., Montrose), from Friday through Sunday, November 25-27. Hours will be 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, and admission is free. Clayworks, a Binghamton-based pottery group, holds an annual sale for a local charity, and this year it’s Susquehanna County that will benefit. The Association will receive 15% of all sales. Courthouse Closing Notice

The Susquehanna County Commissioners announce the Courthouse will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 24 and 25, in observance of Thanksgiving. All court related offices will be available.

Montrose High School To Host Health Fair

The thirteenth annual Susquehanna County Health Fair will be held on Saturday, November 19 at Montrose Area High School.

Free health screenings that will be available include, but are not limited to, blood sugar, skin cancer, glaucoma, tetanus shots, blood pressure and hearing. All are available on a first come, first served basis.

In addition, many government agencies, businesses and organizations will be on hand offering valuable information.

The fair will be held from 10:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m.
