JOHANNA M. FOLEY Johanna Marie Foley, 76 Lecanto, FL, formerly of Susquehanna, PA, died June 3, 2011 in the Hospice Care Unit of Citrus Memorial Hospital. Johanna was born in Binghampton, NY on April 11, 1935, moved to Chattanooga, TN and later retired to Lecanto. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Marvin A. Foley; 2 daughters, Mary (Roy) Hulburt, Lecanto and Linda (Tim) Brown, Cookville, TN; her son, Marvin (Jackie) Foley, Chattanooga, TN; 2 brothers, Timothy (Sylvia) Warmouth and Robert Warmouth; sister and brother in law, Theresa and Ralph Lee; grandchildren, Terry and Lynn Marie Maloney, Christie Lynn Hurlburt and husband, Bob Marvin, Trrey Auburn Jones, III, Jessica and Sara Foley, Charles and Levi Brewster; great grandchildren, Erin and Kevin Crawford and Colton and Michael Marvin; great great grandchildren, Owen Whitney; Nieces and Nephews; a special friend, Sachi Rainone and all her dear friends of Susquehanna, PA, Chattanooga, TN and Lecanto, FL. She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas (Carol) Warmouth. “Remember me as you pass by, as you are now, so once was I. FLORENCE AMY RIVENBURG WALLACE Florence Amy Rivenburg Wallace, 90, of Thompson, died Monday night, June 13, 2011 at the Barnes-Kasson Hospital , Susquehanna. She was the widow of Cecil Wallace who died on June 11, 1991. Born in East Ararat, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Delcie Avery Rivenburg. She was educated in the Ararat School; a very active member of the Ararat United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Forest City Senior Citizen Center where she was very involved in all the activities and fund raising. She was a homemaker. The family would like to thank the staff at Barnes-Kasson Hospital for the outstanding care given to Florence. Surviving are two sons Gordon Wallace and wife Anna, Binghamton, NY and Austin Wallace and wife Sandra, Scotland; three brothers Floyd Rivenburg, Norwich, NY, Asa Rivenburg, Johnson City, NY and Willard Sartell, Sussex, NJ; two sisters Dorothy Rivenburg Moyers and Eda Shaffer, both of Endicott, NY; and several grandchildren including the three that she raised, Donald Wallace and wife Debbie, Florence Gorton and Delcie Hallstead and husband Joseph; several great-grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a son Donald Wallace in December 1991; and a brother Ernest Rivenburg. The funeral service was held Thursday, June 16 in the Jones and Brennan Funeral Home, 430 Main St., Forest City. Interment was in the Gelatt Cemetery. MARILYN LAMM PARSONS Marilyn Lamm Parsons passed away in Georgia on June 4, 2011 at the home of her daughter Penny who had been caring for her. Marilyn was born in Lanesboro, PA in 1925 to the late William G. and Iva (Clapper) Lamm. She had four siblings, Gordon W. Lamm and Shirley Sterling, who preceded her in death, while older sister Carrine Robinson of Susquehanna, PA and younger brother William Lamm of Boise Idaho will continue to cherish her memory. Marilyn loved her reading and thirst for knowledge. A desire to care for people led her to attend Binghamton City Hospital School of Nursing. She was married to DeWitt Parsons, who preceded her in death. She is survived by four daughters, five grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
