Rider University Announces Dean's List

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ - Rider University's colleges of Business Administration, Continuing Studies, and Liberal Arts, Education, and Sciences have announced the names of undergraduate students who have been placed on the Dean's List for the spring 2010 semester. Area Dean's List students are: Amy Fischer, Hallstead; Carrie Fischer, Hallstead; Ashley Lloyd, Carbondale.

Kassandra Stepniak Receives Honors

Kassandra F. Stepniak, a senior at Wells College in Aurora, New York, has been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2010 semester. To be eligible for Dean's List, a student must carry a semester GPA of 3.5 or better and take a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours (four courses). Kassandra is a resident of Montrose.

Kristin Shingler Receives Honors

Gettysburg College students with a quality point average of 3.33 or higher for a semester's work are placed on the College's Deans' Commendation List. Kristin Shingler of Montrose, a junior, has been placed on the Deans' Commendation List for outstanding academic achievement during the Spring 2010 semester.

Elk Lake Elementary Students Of The Month

Mr. Charles Pirone, Elementary Principal of the Elk Lake School, is pleased to announce the May 2010 student of the month award winners.

Students in kindergarten, first, and second grades were selected by their homeroom teachers. Students may be selected as student of the month from four different areas. Those four areas are academic achievement, attendance, citizenship and most improved.

Elk Lake is proud of their students and congratulates them for their accomplishments.
