GRACE E. DUNLAP Grace E. Dunlap, 96, of Hallstead, PA passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010 in Barnes-Kasson. She was predeceased by her first husband and the father of her children, Arthur Nelson on 10-19-1945 and her second husband, James Dunlap on 12-31-1971. Grace is survived by her children, Linda and John Ketchur, Great Bend, PA and Lawrence Nelson, Crown Point, IN; grandchildren, Vicki (Shimer) Mase and husband, Nick, Lisa and Donald Pierucci, and Kyle and Karen Nelson; great grandchildren, Courtney, Ryan, Megan, Kellan, Zachery, Anthony, and Alex; and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Joan Nelson and all three of her siblings. Grace loved to read, play tennis, crochet, do crossword puzzles, and play the piano. She was an avid sports enthusiast, especially the Philadelphia Phillies. The family would like to thank Bonnie, Barbara, Colleen, and Doreen for all the compassion and care they gave to Grace. At Grace's request there will be no services. Should friends so desire, expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to the Hallstead Public Library 135 Franklin Avenue, Hallstead, PA 18822. GLADYS M. KLIEWER Gladys M. Kliewer, 73, of New Milford, PA went to be with the Lord on July 3, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband of forty-two years, David Kliewer. Also surviving are five children, Rebecca and Eric Barnes and their six children, Candace Cropley and her two children, Richard and Shelly Jicha and their four children, Arthur and Charisse Jicha and their three children, and Debra and David Sustaita and their three children; a sister, Gloria Canfield; five brothers, Norman and Carol Fiske, Nelson and Leona Fiske, Elmer and Rae Fiske, Elwin and Beverly Fiske, and Emerson and Sandy Fiske; and several nieces and nephews. Gladys was an active member of the First Baptist Church, Susquehanna, PA. She was known for her baking and cooking skills, but even more for her generous hospitality. A funeral will be held at noon, Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at the South New Milford Baptist Church. Interment will be made in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hallstead, PA. Friends may call from 10:30-noon, at the church, prior to the service. Should friends so desire, expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Wilkes-Barre, PA, with our special thanks for excellent and invaluable care in our time of need. Arrangements are under the direction of the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Hallstead, PA.
