Parishioners Receive First Communion

On Sunday, May 2, at St. John’s, Susquehanna, 8:30 mass, the following young parishioners received their First Communion: Ryan Armitage, Makenzie Cook, Amanda Iveson, Billy Guilfoyle, Taylor Huyck, Genna Miller, and Leah Reyes.

All of the communicants (pictured above) took part in the mass, with the readings, prayer of the faithful and singing. This was due to the help, guidance and preparation from their pastor, Fr. David Cramer; Assistant Pastor, Fr. Alfhones Perikala; Director of Religious Education, Mrs. Vickie Mulligan; and teachers Mrs. Carol Dubas and Mrs. Jackie Gow. Mrs. Kathy Matis and Mrs. Carol Jackson provided music for the celebration.

On Sunday, May 9, at St. Lawrence’s, Great Bend, 9:30 mass, Garrett Peters received his First Communion. Garrett also helped with the May Crowning of the Blessed Mother. Dominik Maida was Garrett’s teacher.
