Pauline S. Wilder

Pauline Seaman Wilder of Lanesboro, PA, went to be with the Lord on May 22, 2009 after a long illness.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert E. Wilder of Lanesboro; her children: Susan (Mark) Morgan of Katy, TX, Kerri Wilder and Janet Wilder of Lanesboro, James (Betty) Wilder of Windsor, Brian Wilder of Kingsley; and nine grandchildren: Joshua Wilder, Christopher Peksa, Gabriella Peksa, Alex Peksa, Aimee Wilder, Sierra Wilder, Travis Morgan, Matthew Morgan, and Jordan Wilder.

She was predeceased by her parents, Charles V. and Julia (Carpenter) Seaman, as well as by one grand-daughter, Jessica Wilder.

Pauline was born in Susquehanna in 1935 and graduated from Susquehanna High School, Class of 1954. She humbly worshipped and served the Lord at Lanesboro Community Church for many years. In 1998, she and Robert moved to Turnpike Terrace Apartments where they made many deep friendships and shared their lives with so many others.

Pauline was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2005 and valiantly fought it until the Lord called her home. She resided at Forest City Nursing Home from August, 2008 to early May, 2009.

The family wishes to extend their deepest thanks to the many loving caregivers of Asera Care Hospice and Forest City Nursing and Rehab Center who were a daily blessing in her life. Pauline left for her journey to be with God, surrounded by family at Barnes-Kasson Hospital.

A memorial service will be held later this year at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lanesboro Community Church are appreciated.
