Frieda K. Phelps, 92 formerly of Hop Bottom, PA and recently at Golden Living Stroud in East Stroudsburg was called home to her heavenly family early Friday morning, February 13, 2009. She was the widow of Gerald O. Phelps, who died in 1988. Born September 27, 1916 in Scranton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Katie Korban.

She is best known for her "Resurrection Scene" which she eagerly shared with many new and old friends alike. What will be missed is the sparkle in her beautiful blue eyes, her wonderful smile and charming wit and ever-loving spirit. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Well done, thou good and faithful servant.
