DONALD GEORGE ALBERT, M.D.

Dr. Donald G. Albert, 84, of Harbor Springs, MI passed away on December 6, 2008 at Northern Michigan Regional Hospital in Petoskey, MI.

Dr. Albert was the loving father of Donald G. Albert, Jr. (Alice), Laurie Albert Williams (Guy), William R. Albert, (Susan), Julie Zoerhof and Sarah Albert. Former husband of Roberta M. Tickner, Jackson, PA. Grandfather of Alexis, Tyler, Zell, Neal, Eva, Ayla, Zoey and Great-Grandfather of Maddox.

He was born and raised in Oakland, PA, son of the late Helen and Col. Lester R. Albert, Sr. and brother of Lester R. Albert, Jr. who has preceded him in death. He graduated from Oakland High School and then attended Penn State University. He received his medical degree from Temple University Medical School in Philadelphia, PA. He was a proud United States Marine Corps veteran of World War II.

Dr. Albert was a longtime resident of Bloomfield Hills, MI and Torch Lake, MI. He had a private practice in internal medicine, specializing in cardiology at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI. He previously held positions as Associate Professor of Medicine at Wayne State University, Director of Visiting Nurses Association, President of Michigan Heart Association, Medical Director of AAA of Michigan and Director of the Middlebelt Nursing Home.

The family will be having a memorial service at a later date in Susquehanna, PA.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Northern Michigan Regional Hospital Foundation in Petoskey, MI.

DONALD C. GLOVER

Donald C. Glover, 69, Susquehanna, PA, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at Barnes-Kasson Hospital, Susquehanna, PA.

He was born in Harmony Twp., the son of the late Robert A. and Luella T. (O’Dell) Glover.

He was predeceased by his wife, Francis Glover; and a brother, Robert E. Glover.

Donald is survived by three sons, Donald H. and Sharon Glover, Thompson, PA, Mark A. and Sherri Glover, Susquehanna, PA, and Marvin A. Glover, Susquehanna, PA; one daughter, Melody and Ted Robinson, Windsor, NY; two sisters, Joan White, Tunkhannock, PA and Loraine and Donald Foot, Benton, PA; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

He was retired from PennDot in Montrose, PA. He was a member of the American Legion Post #86 and Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #794, both of Susquehanna, PA.

The funeral service was held on Saturday, December 13, at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave., Susquehanna, with the Rev. Fred Johnson officiating.

The burial will be in the Lanesboro Cemetery, Lanesboro, PA.

JOHANNA GREULICH

Johanna Greulich, 80, of Little Ireland Road, Starrucca, PA passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at the Barnes-Kasson Hospital, Susquehanna, PA.

She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Greulich.

Johanna is survived by her son, Andy and Rose Greulich; daughter, Gadrun and Chip Dwyer; a brother, Andrew Kahl; sister, Hilde and Ron Dittmayer; and four grandchildren, Hanna and Emma Greulich, Stephen and Ian Dwyer.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Oneonta, NY. Johanna was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who will be deeply missed by her family.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, 33 High School Rd., Montrose, PA 18801.
