New Pastor Arrives At Montrose Church
Submitted By Peggy Maynard, Secretary

This month, Pastor Rodney Clark will be arriving at the Evangelical Free Church of Montrose. He and his wife, Faith have moved to Montrose from Florida and are looking forward to getting to know people in the community. They love the mountains and natural beauty of Pennsylvania as well as the varied climate.

Pastor Rodney and Faith Clark, the newest members of the Evangelical Free Church of Montrose.

Rodney has extensive experience in business management as general manager and controller of a transportation company, as well as nine years’ experience in the pastorate. He holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Florida State University in addition to graduate studies in theology from Emmaus Bible College and Seminary. Rodney’s wife, Faith, has family in this area so they are familiar with Susquehanna County. Faith is an elementary school teacher.

On Sunday, April 27 Rodney will be preaching, after which there will be a dinner to welcome the Clarks. The church is inviting the community to stop by and get acquainted.

If you are looking for a place where you can get connected, grow spiritually and be real, then we invite you to join the journey with us. That is where Pastor Rodney’s heart is, being real; no games, no plastic faces, just being genuine as we share our struggles and joys in the journey along this path called “life.”

You can pick up on your life journey with various interactive times beginning at 9:15 a.m., or stop by for the church service, which starts at 10:30 a.m. Currently, there is a special opportunity for couples at 9:15 a.m., called “Love and Respect.” This is highly recommended for couples in any stage of marriage who want to strengthen their relationship or repair fractured ones. There are small groups which gather throughout the week to explore their spiritual journey and develop deeper relationships along with other opportunities for men, women, and youth. For more information, call (570) 278-2568 or visit our website at www.MontroseEFree.org.
