CART To Host Info Session

One of the goals of the Susquehanna County Animal Response Team (CART) is to further educate the public in disaster preparedness. Now is the time to gain additional information on how to respond for a pending or actual disaster. This knowledge will better prepare you to make the proper decisions in an emergency situation. Knowing what to do and what not to do during a disaster can save lives.

The second information session in the series is entitled “Emergency Planning and Checklists.” This session will cover areas such as utility safety, family communication, special needs, and caring for animals. The class will be held on Thursday, January 9, 7:00 p.m. in the Susquehanna County Extension Office located at 31 Public Avenue in Montrose. Registration is required to attend, call 289-4402.
