Pvt. Andrew J. Jacob Graduates Training

Army Reserve Pvt. Andrew J. Jacob has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Knox, Kentucky.

Andrew is the nephew of Michele Oberg, Staten Island, NY, and brother of Thomas Kernoschak, Forest City.

Andrew is a 2004 graduate of Fort Hamilton High School, Brooklyn, NY.

H.A. Cole S. Brainard Home For Holidays

United States Hospitalman Apprentice Cole S. Brainard, son of Steven and Suzanne Brainard of Lenox Twp., was welcomed home December 27, on leave for ten days. Brainard enlisted in the United States Navy and began his five-year enlistment in November, 2005. He was stationed at Great Lakes, IL for basic training and Naval Hospital Corps School. Cole spent several months at the health clinic in Annapolis, MD and then on to Marine base, Camp Lejeune, NC for Field Medical Service School. Currently he is stationed at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Virginia and works in the anesthesia department.

Pvt. Jamie Finch Graduates Basic

Army National Guard Pvt. Jamie L. Finch has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, SC.

Jamie is the daughter of Thomas Finch, Brackney, and a 2005 graduate of Montrose Area High School.
