Ensign Colby R. Wood was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade (LTJG) on August 1, in a Frocking Ceremony held aboard the USS George Washington, home ported at Norfolk, VA.

LTJG Wood, his wife, Dawn and sons, Alex and Aaron currently reside at Virginia Beach, VA.

LTJG Wood is the Son of Mildred A. Wood, YMC USN Retired and James E. Wood, RMC USN Retired, of Susquehanna PA.

Army Sgt. Eric Krause Reports To Syracuse

Army Sgt. Eric Krause has arrived for duty in Syracuse, NY.

Krause, a recruiter with three years of military service, is the son of Gary D. and Brenda D. Krause of Brittany Circle, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

His wife, Crystal, is the daughter of Stewart Heiler and Heidi Heiler, both of Union Dale, PA.

In 2000, the sergeant graduated from Alburnett High School, Iowa, and received an associate degree in 2002 from Kirkwood Community College, Cedar Rapids.
