ANN L. DOOLEY

Ann L. Dooley, 80, Susquehanna, PA, went home to the Lord on November 14, 2005.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert G. Dooley in 1989; her parents, Delos and Mary Elizabeth (Myrtie) Carrington; and her brother, Jack Carrington.

Ann is survived by a daughter, Mary Jo and Clay Weaver, Susquehanna; four sons, Thomas and Anne Dooley, Susquehanna, Joseph Dooley, Susquehanna and fiancée Mary Ann Wagner, Vestal, NY, Martin and Rose Dooley, Johnson City, NY, Daniel and Luanne Dooley, Hallstead, PA; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, Renae and Tom McNair, Jennifer and John Yannone, Logan and Keeton, Christopher Weaver and Michelle Miller, Alyssa Biondo, Michael and Liza Dooley, Kerstin, Elizabeth Dooley, Meghan and Joanna Dooley, and Lynnette Dooley; brothers-in-law, Edward and Romayne Dooley, Joseph Canini; sister-in-law, Marina and Raymond Kimble; many nieces, nephews and cousins, especially Marge Googe and Jean Stone.

Ann was a career employee of Barnes-Kasson Hospital, Susquehanna. After her retirement, Ann continued to care for people by her volunteer work. Ann was a dedicated parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church, Susquehanna, where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society, and the Catholic Daughters of America.

Ann was a symbol of love and strength and will be forever remembered by her many friends and family.

The funeral service was held on Thursday, November 17 at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, and at St. John’s Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial was offered by the Rev. Robert Simon.

The family would like to thank the very caring staff of Barnes-Kasson Hospital and Barnes-Kasson SNF for their wonderful care. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Pro-Life Committee, or Barnes-Kasson SNF.
