JOSEFITA M. BENTZ

Josefita M. Bentz, 48, Susquehanna, PA, passed away at home Wednesday, June 22, 2005 after an illness.

She was born in Susquehanna, the daughter of the late Robert and JoAnn (Rapella) Haggerty.

She was predeceased by one sister, Roberta J. Haggerty.

She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Robert E. Bentz; her two sons and one daughter-in-law, Robert J. and Jessica Bentz, Manchester, CT, Daniel E. Bentz, Susquehanna; her two sisters and one brother-in-law, Mary Jane Reynolds, Falls Church, VA, Johnine and Fred Barnes, Susquehanna; many nieces and nephews.

Josefita graduated from Susquehanna Community High School in 1975 and from Broome Community College in 1977. She was a member of St. John’s Church of Susquehanna and an employee of Barnes-Kasson Hospital, Susquehanna.

The funeral service was held on Saturday, June 25 at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, Susquehanna, and at St. John’s Church where a Mass of Christian Burial was offered by Rev. Robert Simon. Burial, St. John’s Cemetery, Susquehanna.
