St. John’s Church Easter Schedule

Following is the Easter season schedule for St. John the Evangelist Church, Susquehanna.

Lenten Penance Service: Sunday, March 13, 7 p.m.

Confessions held on Saturdays from 4:30 - 5 p.m.

Palm Sunday: March 20; Vigil 5:30 p.m., March 19; Sunday Masses at 8:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

Holy Thursday: March 24, 7:00 p.m.

Good Friday: March 25, 2:00 p.m.

Holy Saturday: March 26, 8:00 p.m.

Easter Sunday, March 27, 8:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

Missions Conference At G.B. Alliance

The Great Bend Alliance Church located on Randolph Street in Great Bend, PA will be hosting a Missions Conference with David and Donelda Stockwell from the Philippines. They will begin on Thursday, March 3 at 5:30 p.m. with a potluck dinner and service at 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 4 is international night, with international displays and meal at 5:30 p.m. and Philippine service at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, March 5 there is a ladies’ brunch from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. At 2:00 p.m. the children (ages 3–12) will bowl at Sunset Lanes in Kirkwood. Ages 13 and up will bowl at Valley Lanes in Great Bend, at 4:00 p.m. On Sunday, March 6 they will have a men’s breakfast at 8:30 a.m., Sunday School at 10:00 a.m. and final missions challenge at 11:00 a.m. Everyone is welcome to join for any of these fellowship and worship opportunities.
