DAVID A. BURNS
David A. Burns, 36, New Milford, PA, beloved son and brother, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 1004 at Community Medical Center, Scranton, PA, of unexpected complications.
David is survived by his parents, Don and Mary Burns, New Milford; his sister and special caregiver, Donna Brink and husband, Jim, Hallstead, PA; three nieces, Kelsey, Katie, and Laura Brink; a grandmother, Lucy Burns, Susquehanna, PA; several aunts, uncles and cousins; many, many close and dear friends, especially Chris and Donnie.
Dave was a partner in Burns Excavating, New Milford and worked with the Pennsylvania American Water Company. He was a member of the Susquehanna County Snowmobile Association and the Pennsylvania Bluestone Association. He was a past president and former member of the Rotary Club. He received the Paul Harris Fellow Award from Rotary in 1995.
A funeral service was held at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Hallstead, on Sunday, November 7, with Pastor Donald Littleton officiating. Interment, Mountain Valley Cemetery, Hallstead.
We would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Wilson Hospital, Community Medical Center, and Hackensack University Medical Center, especially Pam Potter-Mayo, RN and Dr. Scott Rowley for their compassionate care.

ROBERT K. ROE
Robert K. Roe, 54, Susquehanna, PA passed away on Friday, November 5, 2004 at Mercy Hospital, Scranton, PA after an illness.
He was predeceased by his father, Karr Roe and brother, Roger Roe.
He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Curtis Roe; one son, Tim Roe, Susquehanna; one daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Dave Hubal, Thompson, PA; mother, Alice Roe, Susquehanna; one brother, Ronnie and Paula Roe, Susquehanna; three sisters, Janet Roe, Susquehanna, Jeane Roe and Russ Conklin, Susquehanna, Joann and Tim Palmatier, Great Bend, PA; three grandchildren, Rachel Hubal, Keith Hubal, Alexis Roe; several nieces and nephews.
He was a truck driver for 29 years, presently employed by Freehold Cartage, Inc. of Freehold, NJ. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #794, Susquehanna, and Endless Mountains Rod and Gun Club. Robert was a sportsman and avid hunter and a NASCAR fan.
The funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 9, from Hennessey’s Funeral Home, Susquehanna, with Pastor Brian Lucas officiating. Burial, Newman Cemetery, Great Bend.
