HELEN A. STACK

Helen A. Stack, 80, Jefferson Ave., Thompson, PA, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at Barnes-Kasson Hospital, Susquehanna, PA.

Helen was predeceased by her husband, Michael F. Stack, in 1960.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Andrea Stack, Vestal, NY, Michael and Pat Stack, Johnson City, NY; three daughters and a son-in-law, Catherine Staros, Thompson, Marie Brady, Susquehanna, Patricia and Jeff Crawford, Adamstown, MD; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Henry and Agnes Lahoda, Dr. Joseph and Charlotte Lahoda, Thomas and Barbara Lahoda; one sister, Nancy Beautz; 13 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Helen was a member of St. Paul’s Church, Starrucca, PA. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.

The funeral service was held on Friday, October 1 at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, Susquehanna, and at St. John’s Church, Susquehanna, where a Mass of Christian Burial was offered by the Rev. Robert Simon. Burial, St. Mary’s Cemetery, Thompson.

Memorial contributions may be made to Barnes-Kasson Hospital, 400 Turnpike St., Susquehanna, PA 18847.

CHARLES W. TUTTLE

Charles W. Tuttle, 83, Hillsboro, MO, formerly of Hallstead, PA passed away Sunday, October 3, 2004 in Missouri.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Olga; four stepchildren, Richard and Sandy Schneider, Ursula and Al Sprock, Trudy and John Fieser, Carl and Deana Schneider; several step-grandchildren and step -great-grandchildren; a sister, Thelma Yeisley, New Milford, PA; a brother, Harold Tuttle, Hallstead; two nieces, three nephews.

Charlie was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a charter member of American Legion Post 357, Hallstead, a member of VFW Post 6223, Great Bend, and a member and past Master of Blue Stone Lodge 338 F & AM. He was a former PENNDOT employee.

Funeral services and interment will be in Missouri.
