Dinner & Concert At Great Bend Alliance

Thompson Clothes Closet Is Ready

The Clothes Closet would like to announce that the spring and summer garments are now on display and ready to go. The Clothes Closet, located in the Thompson United Methodist Church, has been open for almost a year now, having clothing available to individuals who would like to come in and select garments for themselves or their families.

All clothing has been generously donated to the Church and in turn is given without charge to those who request it. The Clothes Closet’s schedule has been slightly disrupted for the past few weeks due to renovation in the Church, which includes the addition of two new handicapped accessible rest rooms. It is hoped that this addition on the main floor of the church will enable persons with physical difficulties to be more comfortable attending services.

The Church doors are open for the Clothes Closet on Fridays, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Anyone who has an immediate need for clothing may call Pastor Brian Lucas at 727–2341, Mary Gray at 756–2652, Linda Chesnick at 727–3193, or Joy Mead at 727–2518.

The Church would like to thank everyone who has donated clothing to the Clothes Closet for this outreach work.
