SCHS Presents The President's New Clothes

The White House and President Lee (Brent Soden) is running the country. First Lady Holly (Heather Warneke) is forgiving of her husband’s forgetfulness and sloppy appearance. The press is not so kind and neither is his opponent Horace Grinchley (Jordan Tingley) or his campaign manager Myrna Snerd (Katie McHale). They hire three wardrobe consultants to strip the president to his "bare essentials" and have him deliver a television address in an invisible suit. Add to the campaign fever Yessiah Minsain, an evil dictator, a Vice President who is an environmental fanatic, plus the chorus of reporters and you have a night of fun, complete with music, dancing and zany characters appropriate for election time that you will not want to miss. Three performances, November 13, 14 and 15, will be presented at Susquehanna Community High School Auditorium, at 7:00 p.m. each evening. Tickets are Adult $5.00 and Student and Senior Citizens $4.00. Reservations can be made by calling 853-4692 or 853-4921, ext. 2344 or 2399.
