Ashley Aldrich Makes PSU Dean's List

Ashley Rose Aldrich made the Dean’s List at Penn State University for the spring semester, 2003. Ashley attends the PSU Berks Campus in Reading. She is majoring in Occupational Therapy. Ashley graduated from Montrose Area High School in 2001. She is the daughter of James and Gail Aldrich.

Zachary Garm Earns Lafayette Scholarship

Easton, PA – Lafayette is announcing the names of 64 members of the new incoming class who have earned the honor of being named Marquis Scholars. Among the best and brightest academic stars of the Class of 2007, these students will receive a special scholarship and distinctive educational benefits.

Selected from among Lafayette’s top applicants, Marquis Scholars have distinguished themselves through exceptional academic achievement in high school. They receive from Lafayette an annual minimum scholarship of $12,500 (totaling $50,000 over four years) or a grant in the full amount of their demonstrated need if the need is more than $12,500.

Zachary Frederic Garm, Forest City, attending for a BS in Engineering (Undecided), a graduate of Forest City Regional High School and son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Garm of Lackawanna Street, earned the honor.

More than 160 students petitioned to graduate from Pennsylvania College of Technology in commencement ceremonies Saturday, August 9.

Michele Lynn Palmer, Montrose, graduated with an Associate of Applied Science in Radiography.
