GEORGE W. BROWN

George (Billy) W. Brown, 58, Hallstead, PA, formerly of Susquehanna, PA, passed away Monday, May 12, 2003, after a long illness.

He was the son of the late John E. and Margaret A. (Stroh) Brown.

Billy is survived by his wife, Delores Brown; four daughters, Terry, Jennifer, Susan, Kristin; one son, Billy Brown; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Marilyn and John Wanatt, Ann and James Hinkley, Margaret and Warner Burdick; one brother and sister-in-law, John C. and Mary Brown; six grandchildren.

He served in the US Navy and also the US Army National Guard. He was a longtime member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #794, Susquehanna, American Legion Post #357, Hallstead and Susquehanna Fire Department.

At Billy’s request, a farewell party was held at the American Legion Post #357, Hallstead.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post #357, Hallstead, PA 18822.

EDWARD MOSLEY

Edward Mosley, 75, Conklin, NY, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2003. He was predeceased by his son, Kenneth and brother, Thomas.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Marie; son and daughter-in-law, Edward G. and Joyce M. Mosley; three grandchildren, Matthew J., Philip E., and Amelia M.; two sisters, Helen Ackerman, Florida, Louise Coin, New Jersey. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Ed retired from the Patterson, NJ police department as a sergeant, was a life member of the Free Mason Lodge in Northern New Jersey and was a member of the Susquehanna Moose and Legion Hall.

Funeral services were held from Savage Funeral Home, Binghamton, NY, with Joe Hein officiating. Burial, Conklin Cemetery.
