Army Reserve Pvt. Brentt J. Swetter has graduated from basic military training at Fort Leonard Wood, Waynesville, MO.

During training, the trainee received instruction in drill and ceremonies, weapons, rifle marksmanship, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, and Army history, core values and traditions.

Brentt is the son of Patrica Swetter of Rural Route 1, and brother of Stephanie Jones of Rural Route 1, both of Union Dale, Pa.

He graduated in 2002 from Lakeland High School, Jermyn, PA.
