JOHN T. MORRIS

John T. "Jack" Morris, 83, Scott Center Road, Susquehanna, PA, died unexpectedly Tuesday, January 7, 2003, at his home. He is survived by his wife, Betty Morris; and also by his sons, Rev. Thomas J. Morris, Shavertown, PA, Lanny Morris, Conklin, NY; stepsons, Robert Lyman and Benny Telford, both of Carbondale; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.

He was self-employed as a dairy farmer for many years and later served as a supervisor for Harmony and Scott Townships. He had also been a member of Freedom Lodge #328 F&AM, Thompson, for the past thirty-five years.

Private funeral services for the family were held from the Zacharias Funeral Home, Deposit, NY, with Rev. Thomas J. Morris officiating. Interment will be in the Gelatt Cemetery, Gelatt, PA, in the spring.

Friends wishing may make donations to their local Humane Society in memory of John T. "Jack" Morris.
