DONALD D. CONNELLY

Donald D. "Don" Connelly, 55, of Hallstead, PA, passed away Monday, October 14, 2002, at home. He was the son of the late John and Mary Connelly.

Surviving are his loving wife, Roxanne Heed Connelly; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Todd and Miranda Connelly, Camp Hill, PA, Gregory A. Connelly, Dillsburg, PA; a granddaughter, Katelyn Rose Connelly; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Peg Connelly, Michigan; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Mary Lou and Bill Ebersole, Roaring Spring, PA, Betty Pearson, Florida; his mother-in-law, Elaine Heed, New Milford; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Carol and Jerry Ely, Montrose, Nancy and Robert Webb, Endicott, NY, Robert "Fud" and Sue Heed, South Montrose.

Besides his parents, Don was predeceased by his brother, John.

Don graduated from Lock Haven University. He taught health and physical education at Blue Ridge High School for 32 years. During these years he had coached football, wrestling and soccer. Also, he was a Special Olympics coach and coordinator for Area P Special Olympics. He was a former EMT with the Great Bend/Hallstead Ambulance. Don was an avid golfer and a member of the Ford Hill Country Club, Whitney Point. He enjoyed music and loved dancing.

Funeral services were held from the United Methodist Community Church, Great Bend.
