Marie C. Osterhout
Marie C. Osterhout, 95 of Jackson Ave, Susquehanna, PA passed away Monday, June 4, 2018 at Barnes Kasson Hospital SNF.
She was a lifelong resident of Susquehanna, PA, the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Callanan. She was predeceased by her husband, Lynn Osterhout; and brother, Francis.
Marie is survived by her sister, Jean Mazikewich; brother, John Callanan; three daughters, Mary Lynn and Bill Finnegan, Christine and Paul Oliver, and Kathleen and Andrew Stasko; two sons, David and Gerard Osterhout; daughter-in-law, Anne Jedlicka; three grandchildren, Christopher Fox, Jennifer Oliver, Jared Osterhout; several nieces and nephews.
Marie worked as a Nurse's Aide at Barnes Kasson Hospital on the SNF unit for over 20 years until her retirement. Marie was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Susquehanna, PA. Her Catholic faith and church activities were a big part of her life. Most important to Marie was spending time with her family and friends. She loved to cook and enjoyed hosting large family dinners. She always made a point of making her guests feel welcome.
In her later years, Marie enjoyed her yearly trips with her family to the beach in Ocean City, MD. Marie was a quiet person with great strength. She met the challenges and disappointments of life with grace and dignity. She touched many lives with her generous and giving spirit. She will be dearly missed.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. P. Patel and the SNF staff for the wonderful care given to our mother. Also, they would like to acknowledge a special neighbor, Geraldine Osterhout, and niece, Joan Dooley for her devotion to "Aunt Ri Ri". Marie looked forward to her nightly visits.
A mass of Christian burial was offered at the St. John's Church in Susquehanna, PA on Saturday, June 9, 2018 with Rev. David Cramer officiating.
Interment will be held in the St. John's Cemetery, Susquehanna, PA.
Arrangements by the Hennessey's Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave., Susquehanna, PA.

Wendy Carey
Wendy Carey, 47, of New Milford, PA, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Wilson Hospital in Johnson City, NY. She was born on April 12, 1971 in Johnson City, NY to Barry Schmidt and Linda (Ward) Schmidt. She is survived by her husband, Ken Carey.
She is also survived by her mother, Linda Schmidt, New Milford, PA; father and step-mother, Barry and Alice Schmidt, New Milford, PA; two sons, Shawn Carey, Norwich, NY and Troy Carey, Norwich, NY; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Brad and Shaela Schmidt, Windsor, NY, Todd and Jennifer Schmidt, New Milford, PA, Ken and Lisa Schmidt, New Milford, PA; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Wendy loved kids, especially her own. She enjoyed spending all of her time with her family and gave her heart to her family and friends. She was so strong and nothing slowed her down. She was an active member of the Bridgewater Baptist Church and always helped give back to the community. She was the secretary for the New Milford Borough Recreation Board.
A Memorial Service was held Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the Bridgewater Church, 10142 State Route 167, Montrose, PA with Pastor Barry Kilmer officiating.
Arrangements have been made through the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, Montrose, PA.

Mary Lou Barber
Mary Lou Barber, 70 of Union Dale, PA passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 after an illness.
She was predeceased by her parents, Dwight and Olive (McCarty) Barber.
Mary was survived by her loving partner of 38 years, Donald Donnelly Jr. of Union Dale, PA; her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Donald Stout of Thompson, PA; grandchildren, Adam Stout and fiancé, Mary Jo, and Dylan Stout; great-grandchildren, Lillian Hunter Stout and Remington Rose Stout.
Mary worked at Arlo's Country Store for several years until her retirement. She loved her cats and cactuses. Most important to Mary though, was spending time with her loving family who will miss her dearly.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses from the VNA Hospice for their excellent care of Mary.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date, at the convenience of the family.

In Memory Of Reinhold Johann Greb
Reinhold "Roni" Greb, age 82, of Blooming Grove, PA died Friday, May 25, 2018 at Regional Hospital of Scranton. Roni was born June 27, 1935 in Heigenbrucken, Germany and was the son of the late Joseph J. and Regina (Kunkle) Greb. In 1952 at the age of 16, he was invited by his aunt and uncle to come to the United States to help on their 200 acre dairy farm in Thompson, PA. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1957 and was stationed at Fort Still, Oklahoma. In 1958, after the death of his uncle, he was honorably discharged and granted U.S. Citizenship in recognition of his military service.
In 1970 Roni began work at the Blooming Grove Hunting and Fishing Club, in Blooming Grove, PA, as the Trout Hatchery Manager where he worked for 30 years before retiring in 2002.
Over the years Roni has enjoyed hunting, fishing, attending local auctions, and buying and selling land.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Miriam Grace (Barron) Greb; one daughter, Christina Greb of Blooming Grove, PA; one son, Joseph Greb of Blooming Grove, PA; two grandchildren, Erica and Michael Hogan; and one sister, Christal Messenzehl of Germany.
In addition to his wife and family, he is survived by extended family; Miriam's siblings, William and Arlene Barron of Florida; John and Colleen Barron of Endwell, NY and family, Marie, John, and Bernadette; Paul and Judy Barron of Lindley, NY and family, Brenda, Bradley, Beverly, and Brent; Barb and Doug Barnhart of Brackney, PA and family, Lester and Jo-Ann; Diane Barron, wife of deceased, Bob Barron and family, Kris and Shawn; Judi and Gary Millard of New Milford, PA and family, Ryan, Misty, Timothy, Adam, Rachel, Jillian and Ally.
A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, June 27th, 10:30am at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church in Blooming Grove, PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Shrine or Tafton Fire Company.
Cremation will be at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel.
