Mary (Penyak) Cizike, 87, Susquehanna, PA passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 21, 2018.

She was the middle child of Veronica (Kalinich) and Peter Penyak. Mary was born and raised in Scranton, PA and graduated from Technical High School. Following High School, Mary married Andrew Cizike in 1950. They had two children, Cynthia and Andrew. She had several jobs, including running the Cizike Dress Shop on Main St. Susquehanna, but her favorite was being the Switch Board Operator at the Barnes Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna, PA. Her final days were spent at Gracious Living Estates, where she was recovering from recent heart surgery in hopes of regaining enough strength to return home.

Mary was predeceased by her mother and father; brother, Joseph, and sister, Irene.

She is survived by her son, Andrew Cizike of Great Bend, PA; daughter, Cynthia and Joe Kulikauskas of Longmont, CO; grandchildren, Philip and Sarah Kulikauskas and Justin and Molly Kulikauskas of Carrboro, NC.

A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Church in Susquehanna, PA.

Interment will be held in St. John's Cemetery, Susquehanna, PA.

Arrangements were by the Hennessey's Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave., Susquehanna, PA.
