Susquehanna County Resource Day Set

Susquehanna County Resource Day is a free family event hosted by the County Commissioners to ensure you are aware of the services/resources available to you.

Join us on Saturday, March 24th, at the Mountain View School Campus from 9 AM to 1 PM.  Stop by, introduce yourself and interact with over 50 agencies, organizations and activities available for you to gather information, receive services and just have a little fun.  Included will be services for behavioral health, senior services, veterans resources, suicide prevention awareness, county departments, and conservation practices.  There’s something for everyone; register to vote or sign up for a library card.  There will be giveaways at tables as well as door prizes, gift cards, etc. given away frequently during the event.

We also have some ‘fun corners’ for the young and old alike, with story hour and rock painting.  At 10:30 AM, there’s a demonstration by the County’s K-9 unit and roundtable discussions are scheduled for 9:30, 11:00 and noon with the County Commissioners.

Free coffee, hot chocolate and donuts!  We look forward to seeing you.  For more information, call 570-533-3716.
