Sharon L. (Walker) Glath
Sharon L. (Walker) Glath, 63, of Buffalo Township, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017 in UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born June 11, 1954, in Susquehanna to Juanita Simcox, of Freeport and the late Charles Walker.
Sharon worked as a Registered Nurse before retiring. She was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament R.C.Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights and the Herbal Thymes Club, of Sarver. Sharon enjoyed gardening and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, Sharon is survived by her three sons, James M. (Rachel) Glath III, of Sarver, Brian (Mary Beth) Glath, of Export and Michael Glath, of Oakmont; grandsons, Andrew, Noah and Nicholas Glath; brother-in-law, Thomas (Ronita) Glath, of Natrona Heights; and by her two nieces and nephew.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Glath Jr. on March 17, 2004.
Friends were received Thursday in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a blessing service was held with Mass of Christian Burial in Most Blessed Sacrament Church with the Rev. Aaron Kriss as celebrant.
Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.

Raymond A. Rice
Raymond A. Rice, 65, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017 at Wilson Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.
He was predeceased by his parents, Evelyn and Seward Rice.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Lois; his two daughters and sons-in-law, Marcy and Craig Rychlewski and Amanda and Don Geiger; two grandsons; Aidan R. Geiger and Ryan A. Rychlewski; one granddaughter; Rachel Ann Rychlewski; a sister and brother-in-law; Sandra and John Strockbine; and one nephew, Todd Rinker.
Ray loved cars. He built his first stock car at the age of 15 and enjoyed racing at Penn Can Speedway during the late 70’s and early 80’s. As he got older, his interests changed to classic cars. He spent many Sundays going to car shows with Lois and his many “car buddies”. Trips to Carlisle, PA and Sylvan Beach, NY were among his favorites.
Ray was a self-employed contractor for over 40 years. He was a true craftsman and excelled at creating great things out of nothing. He loved to work in his vegetable garden and share his veggies with neighbors and friends.
His grandchildren were the pride of his life. He was their biggest fan at basketball and football games cheering them on. He loved his family and friends and will be deeply missed every day.
The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the Thompson Hose Company Ambulance, Dr. Thomas Martin, Wilson Hospital Emergency Room staff, Intensive Care Unit staff and a special thanks to Shawn Sparks (RN) for his compassion.
A funeral service was held Friday, December 29, 2017, at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA with Pastor Robert Sheldon officiating.
Interment will be held at a later date in the Ararat Cemetery, Ararat, PA.

Fay “Mimi” Clark Button
Born February 1, 1920, Fay “Mimi” Clark Button, 97, formerly of Harford Township, PA passed away peacefully on December 25, 2017 at Meadow View Senior Living Center. She was predeceased in 1969 by her husband of 27 years, Max.
Mimi is survived by three children, Sue Furney and companion Wayne Frederici, Thomas Button and companion Teri Gulick, and Timothy and wife Christina Button; four granddaughters, Amie, Sarah, Miranda, and Mariana; two great grandchildren, Anya and Dimitri; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents, the late Jason and Ethel Mae Clark; a son, Jerry; sisters, Prudence and Ruth; brothers, Richard, Robert, and Ronald; and a son-in-law, Frank Furney.
Mimi was self employed as a dairy farmer and well known as the Harford Township Tax Collector for more than 40 years. She was a member of Kingsley United Methodist Church and of the Old Mill Village. Mimi was a member of the Harford Agricultural Society, the Harford Grange, and PARSE.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff and doctors for the tender care she received while being a resident of Meadow View Senior Living Center.
A service will be held at a later date.
Internment will take place in Harford Cemetery.

Marjorie A. Eberly
Marjorie A. Eberly, 59, of Kingsley, PA entered into rest on December 21, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Lamar.
Marj is also survived by two sons, Sean and Victoria Eberly and Chris Eberly; three grandchildren, Olivia, Miles, and Rhea; her parents, Luke and Mary Bomberger; one brother, Don and Judy Bomberger; three sisters, Sue and Bob Faron, Sandy and Mahlon Smoker, and JoAnn Philbin; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Elsie Eberly; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Marj was devoted to her family and was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She was employed with Peoples National Bank for more than 24 years. Marj will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
A small memorial service will be held at a later date.

Charles Perry Wright
Charles Perry Wright, 78, of Myrtle Beach, SC, formally of York, PA, passed away peacefully in the early morning of December 24, 2017, surrounded by those who loved him.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jane Prynn Wright, son, Daniel Wright, and daughter, Marcia (Michael) Williams, all of Myrtle Beach.
He was a devoted husband and father and cherished taking care of his family.
