The DBA program is housed in the University's Kania School of Management, which is accredited by AACSB International. It is the third doctorate-level program offered by the University, which also offers a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (DPT) and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).

The University welcomed to campus the first cohort of students enrolled in the new Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program.

Veterans’ Day is a solemn occasion where the citizens of America have a chance to honor those who are serving and have served for our freedoms. Students and Faculty were asked to invite friends and family members who are veterans to join in celebration of Veterans’ Day.

The program began with Mountain View’s High School band playing patriotic music as everyone assembled. The Color Guard presented the flags as the assembly sang the National Anthem. Through the program various students presented the history of the flag that belongs to each branch of the military. Each branch was then celebrated by singing the branch song. To conclude the program, the students, faculty, staff and guests sang “God Bless America” by Lee Greenwood. Veterans were presented with thank you cards from students, invited to a social in the lobby and asked to fill out a thankfulness leaf to be added to Mountain View’s Thankful board.

Notes of thanks created by Mountain View Elementary students

Joseph Scanlon, fifth grade social studies teacher, stated, “It helped them to actually see and recognize those that are selfless and sacrifice so much to serve our country. For the younger kids, no longer do they believe that an ‘army guy’ is some distant imaginary person, but instead  there are actual veterans and current service members right where we live and some who've even attended Mountain View. The students really get an understanding of the importance of what our military does for this country by attending this program and discussing it with their teachers.”

Mountain View would like to thank all Veterans for everything they do, have done and will do for our amazing country.
