Sophie Moxen, 78, of New Milford, PA, daughter of the late Joseph and Sophie Grudeski, passed on to be with the Lord Sunday morning, November 19, 2017, after a short battle with cancer.  She was a graduate of West Side High School.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Peter Moxen; a daughter, Sharon and George Suprick, Clarks Summit; two sons, Peter Jr., Clarks Summit and Steven and Tammy, New Milford, PA; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Delores O’Malley, Scranton, PA, Dorothy Syzmanski, York, PA; brothers, Richard Grudeski, South Cannon, PA and John Grudeski, Scranton, PA; several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Traditional Hospice for their care and support.

All services will be private at the convenience of the family, arrangements are under the direction of the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc., Hallstead, PA.
