Alaska, The Lure of The Land: Sunday, February 26 at 2pm at Salt Springs Park. Sandy Babuka spent the summer of 2016 working as a tour bus driver and guide in Denali National Park, Alaska. She will describe and illustrate with jaw-dropping visuals of the mountains and camps, her moose and bear encounters, the Native American Athabaskans and their culture, the Teklanika and Toklat rivers and so much more. Free and all are welcome.

Oh The Many Feet We Meet: Saturday, March 4 at 1PM at Salt Springs Park, learn about the natural history of mammals common to the park as we follow their tracks and look for other signs of their activity as well.

The Alaska Chronicles Continued: The Environment and Sustainability at Denali; Sunday, March 5 at 2PM at Salt Springs Park. Sandy Babuka spent the summer of 2016 working as a tour bus driver and guide in Denali National Park, Alaska. Join us for a richly illustrated and entertaining yet educational presentation on a vast stretch of American wilderness, including the melting permafrost, rock and mudslides and other geological disturbances, and the wildlife, culture and geography of Denali. Free and all are welcome.
Bingo: Sunday, March 5, doors and kitchen oped at 12:30, early bird starts at 1:15, regular bingo starts at 2:00 at the Thompson Hose Co.. Starbursts, Instant Bingo/Pull Tab games, Specials and $2000 Jackpot in 52 numbers or $1000 Jackpot in 54 numbers. Bingo will run every Sunday here after.

Whooo Gives A Hooot?: Sarueday, March 11 at 7PM at Salt Springs Park, after a short presentation on owls by Nancy Wottrich, we'll wander a hopefully moonlit woods “calling” some in.
Soup Supper: Saturday, March 11 from 4:00pm – 6:30pm at the Lake Como United Methodist Church, 377 Como Road, Lake Como, PA. Enjoy a variety of homemade soups, chili, salad, bread, homemade pie and ice cream for dessert. Take outs are available. Cost is free willing offering. All are invited. Proceeds to benefit the Parsonage Committee.
