The Susquehanna Community Development Association “SCDA” Event’s committee has been busy making downtown Susquehanna shine even brighter this year with additional decorations.

Each year this group adds a little more fun and sparkle to make Susquehanna a fun place to visit and come home to. 

The Susquehanna County Commissioners wish to announce the Courthouse will be closed on Monday, January 2, 2017 in observance of the New Year Holiday.  All court related offices will be available

Here at True Friends we believe in Santa Claus and Christmas miracles.  We are hoping that the spirit of the holidays and the joy of giving will send us a true angel to adopt our sweet cat Rajah.  This beautiful, loving, good natured kitty is True Friends'  longest feline resident.  Only 5 years old, neutered, UTD,  Fiv/Felv negative, and extremely affectionate,

Rajah has been waiting so very long to find that special home where he can spend his days basking in the warmth of a sunny window sill. He has watched as so many of his furry buddies headed out the door to a lifetime of love and he is full of hope that soon he will be the lucky one. Don’t forget and please tell your family, friends, and co-workers that we are waiving our adoption fees until January 2nd in hopes of finding all our animals a home during the holidays.  By adopting not only will you be rescuing that dog or cat, but you will be making room for us to take another animal out of the cold or even save another life.  

Fun Fact:A cat named Duchess spent 8 years at the Will County Humane Society in Illinois before finally being adopted. Duchess was blessed by a kind hearted soul and we have the same wish for our Rajah.
