Sen. Lisa Baker, R-20th, recently joined advocates from the #IWantToWork campaign to celebrate a new law that will better prepare disabled students for the workforce. Baker said that without job experience, many teens have trouble connecting with opportunities.

Locally, The Arc of Luzerne County led efforts to advance the initiative, which will help ensure a successful transition to employment through internships, placement assistance and job coaching.
