Senior Center Menu, March 14-18
MONDAY: French toast, sausage, home fries with peppers and onions, strawberries, cottage cheese.
TUESDAY: Meatball sandwich on whole wheat roll, Italian wedding soup, mixed vegetables, fruit cocktail.
WEDNESDAY: Chicken salad sandwich on whole wheat roll, potato salad, broccoli slaw, rice krispie treat.
THURSDAY: Corned beef, steamed cabbage and caraway, steamed carrots and potatoes, rye bread, crème de menthe parfait.
FRIDAY: Beef and bean chili, mixed vegetables, cornbread, hot cinnamon backed apples.

Born To Show 4-H Club Meeting

The Born to Show 4-H Club held its organizational meeting on Friday, February 26th at the Penn State Extension office. Members elected officers for 2016. The new officers are President - Mariah Tompkins, Vice President - Brian Deome, Secretary - Sabrina Clark, Treasurer - Aurelia Johnson, News Reporter - Andrew Kowalewski, Social Chairs - James Grisafi, Jason Farley, Katelyn Farley and Autumn Bonavita.
Members read the 4-H Code of Conduct and reviewed club meeting dates, activities, fundraisers and community service ideas. The club is planning to do a window display during PA 4-H Week at Lindsey Equipment, New Milford.
The next meeting will be March 18, at 7 pm at the Claverack Building in Montrose. New members are welcome to join the club. The 4-H enrollment deadline is May 1. 4-H is open to youth ages 5 to 18, as of January 1. For more information about 4-H in Susquehanna County contact Penn State Extension at 570-278-1158.

We were inadvertently given the wrong start date for this year’s first rehearsal of the Endless Mountains Children’s Choir. The correct date is Wednesday, March 10, 6:30-8:00PM at the South Gibson United Methodist Church in South Gibson, PA.
