Jacqueline Barbara Cacyuk-Lang Wood: “Jackie”
Jackie went to be with our Lord on Thursday, May 7, 2015. She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Ruth Cacyuk, and her grandparents, Reverend George and Maude Sellers, all formerly of Susquehanna, PA. Jackie leaves behind her husband of 27 years, Doug Wood, of Port Richey, Fla, children Donnie Phillips, JR(Charlene), of Charlotte, NC, Heather(Lang)James, of Tampa, Fla. and grandchildren Thomas and Jessica Lang, of Tampa, Fla. and Jessie Phillips, of Charlotte, NC. Also left behind are her siblings, Alexis Cacyuk(Phil Sweeney), of Harpursville, NY, Melville(Joanne)Cacyuk, of Homasassa, Fla., Joanne Bird(Cacyuk), of Holiday, Fla and Johnny(Connie)Cacyuk, of Port Richey, Fla… also, beloved aunt, Ann Cacyuk, of Port Crane, NY and many nieces and nephews and cousins.
Jackie was a caring soul who had many extended family members and friends throughout her colorful life. She gave shelter and meals to many homeless and needy people through the years. She was an avid animal lover and collector of antiques. Jackie loved hosting family gatherings, her convertibles, and her poodles, Peaches and Coco, who were her constant companions. She will be sadly missed by all those whose lives she touched. We love you Jackie…be at peace.
Julia S. Baglino
Julia S. Baglino, 94, of Hallstead passed away May 23, 2015 at Barnes-Kasson Skilled Nursing Facility. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sophia Shobat. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph A. Baglino Sr. and by two grandsons Ralph A. Baglino III and William C. Baglino.
Julia is survived by her son Ralph A. Baglino Jr. of Peoria, AZ and a sister Pauline Craft of New Milford, PA; a granddaughter Mary P. Baglino, a grandson Anthony A. Baglino and a great granddaughter Isabella Baglino and several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Great Bend, PA. She was involved in various community organizations including her church and the local food pantry.
A mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church on May 29, 2015 with interment in St. John’s Cemetery, New Milford, PA.
Jacqueline Lee Lair
Jacqueline Lee Lair, 45, of Lanesboro, PA passed away Friday, May 22, 2015 at the Barnes Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna, PA.
She was predeceased by her parents John R. and Mary “Mag” Stackowitz Sr.
Jacqueline is survived by her loving husband Ellis Lair and son Thomas M. Golka; two brothers John Stackowitz, Jr., Jerome Stackowitz, several Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
She was a member of the St. John’s Church of Susquehanna, PA and Lifetime member of the Susquehanna Fire Department where she held several offices throughout the years. She was a graduate of the Susquehanna Community High School Class of 1987. Jacqueline was a paramedic and worked for the Barnes Kasson Hospital before her retirement.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at the St. John’s Church, Susquehanna, PA, on May 27, 2015. Interment was held in the St. John’s Cemetery, Susquehanna, PA.
Corina Starr Nier
Corina Starr Nier, 48, of Starrucca Creek Road, Susquehanna, PA, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at the Barnes Kasson Hospital, Susquehanna, PA.
Corina is predeceased by her father William Stewart and sister Nadine Lynn Stewart. She is survived by her loving husband of 8 years Scott Nier Sr.; her mother Marylu Stewart and step father Pete Bowman; two daughters and son-in-law Amber and Matt Butts and Autumn Hadlick; three sons and daughter-in-laws, Bryan and Gina Nier, Devon Nier, and Scott Jr. and Mallery Nier; grandchildren, Rhyleigh, Silas, Jacob, Jocelyn, Caitlyn, Brandyn, and Arielle; two brothers and sister-in-laws Colt and Marge Stewart and Gene and Ann Stewart; sister and brother-in-law Beth and Billy Terpstra; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Corina served in the United States Navy, was an honorable member of the American Legion Post#86 and the VFW. She truly loved the outdoors and everything it had to offer. Corina touched so many people in her life; most important to her was her family. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.
A memorial service and celebration of Corina’s life was held at the Susquehanna American Legion Post #86, on Friday, May 29, 2015.

LOIS B. SETZER
Lois B. Setzer, 85, formerly of Hallstead, PA was called home to be with the Lord on May 21, 2015. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, John W. Setzer in 2006.
Lois is survived by three sons, Everett Setzer, Kilmer (Mary) Setzer, and Duane Setzer (Vicki Jacobs); five grandchildren, Jennifer (Russell Rutt), Robert, Matthew, Michael (Emalyn), and John; three great grandchildren, Hailey, Colby and Tyler; step grandchildren, Joel Jacobs and Kyle Jacobs; sister Elsie Altpeter; a brother-in-law, Rev. Eugene (Debra) Setzer ; and several nieces and nephews.
Lois was a RN for many years. She enjoyed making and decorating cakes and creating arts and crafts. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the American Legion Auxiliary. Lois was a member of the United Methodist Community Church of Great Bend, PA.
A funeral service was held Thursday, May 28, 2015 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc. Interment will be made in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst, PA. Should friends so desire, expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to UMCC Food Pantry, PO Box 586, Great Bend, PA 18821.
