We are writing to express our gratitude to Wanda Rockwell and all the volunteers who donated their weekend time and effort in helping to clean up our community.
Undoubtedly, the best way to express our thanks would be to put them out of business by not throwing trash on our roads and in our creeks.
Sincerely,

Cabot is doing all they can to stop me and my Citizen Gas Tours that show the harmed families with contaminated water. Dozens of families have their private water wells and springs polluted/contaminated and DEP verified; One of the prominent ones is Dr. Andrew Chichura , former Superintendent of Mt. View Schools, and he has talked to me personally about it and is in court in Scranton this month suing Cabot using arbitration court/judges. Dr. Chichura has been and struggling for three years with water issues and Cabot is delivering him water for household use and bottles for drinking. Alton Arnold of the Farm Bureau Board told me this past week, his Spring for drinking water is contaminated by Cabot Gas Drilling and he is dealing with this now.
We have Cabot , Chesapeake, WPX, Chief , that I know of, with families with contaminated water from their gas development. Every time I mentioned that I show harmed families on my tour and show the contaminated water, Cabot lawyers objected and Judge Seamans said to strike my testimony.
We have a massive wall of silence that is enabled by our governments in the county, Judge Seamans, and State Officials hiding this water and air contamination in our counties. Cabot has about 600 DEP Violations to date in our county and we have 1100 gas wells, 41 toxic-belching air emissions Gas Compressors in our county to date. This is what I expose to journalists, documentarians, legislators, citizens, media on my tours and Cabot has made it difficult for me by placing these injunctions on me whereby any person can come forth like this gas worker, subcontractor for Cabot, lie under oath and say he saw me on the Cabot a driveway/access road and parked there with others, when I was not there. I have three witnesses who were there that day to attest to this and Judge Seamans chose the lone gas worker who lives in NY and has no photos of me doing this, as the credible witness to convict me of contempt. The gas worker did produce one photo of me parked on the next door neighbor’s driveway, where I am legally allowed to be. I have filed a criminal complaint with the County DA about this and they are investigating.
Truth and Justice will Prevail....even if stonewalled by the gas industry. You can contact me at veraduerga@yahoo.com.

It was a pleasant day that April 12 in Baltimore. Sunny, temperature in the mid-60s, a cool breeze. No hint that a series of events was about to unfold that would rip the city of 620,000 asunder.
It started innocently enough. A police office and Freddie Gray made eye contact. It was the match that lit a fuse that in two weeks time would explode into riots, looting, arson, violent mob confrontations with 1,000 police officers, 5,000 more officers on standby, and the activation of the Maryland National Guard. What happened?
Immediately after Gray saw the officers he ran. Two officers gave chase. Gray was apprehended, cuffed, and put into a police vehicle used to transport prisoners. Sometime during Gray’s arrest and his ride in the van he sustained a spinal cord injury. Gray lapsed into a coma and died a week later without regaining consciousness.
The press howled. What right did the police have to chase down someone who was merely running? Gray could have been on his way to a prayer meeting or late for his volunteer job at a shelter for homeless kittens. Well, not quite. But he did run when he sighted police officers. Why? Most probable reason; the officers spotted a drug deal going down.
The police recognized Gray. He was a “regular” with a foot-long rap sheet.
Between 2007 and 2015, Gray was arrested 18 times. Assault, burglary, trespassing, malicious destruction of property, gambling, second-degree escape, and a baker’s dozen times for possession of a controlled substance sometimes with intent to sell. He was no Boy Scout.
That said, his death is a tragedy with serious questions to be answered. When and how was he injured? When Gray was arrested he appeared to be in great pain. Why? And why wasn’t medical help summoned? Did the police seat-belt him in the van or did he fall during the 30-minute ride and injure himself?
Six officers have been suspended with pay pending an investigation, medical examination, and autopsy. But hooligans have no interest in their findings; they feed on emotion.
Infuriated mobs are ransacking Baltimore. Can the imminent arrival of what can be described as camp followers be far behind? It’s the usual crew:
Al Sharpton: “I plan to have a meeting with grass-roots activists and faith leaders to schedule a two-day march in May from Baltimore to Washington.”
Jessie Jackson: “There have been 110 [African-American] deaths at the hands of police since 2010. Fred wasn’t number one, he was number one-one-one.”
The mayor of Baltimore, Stephanie Rawlings-Black, played to her base: “We also gave those who wished to destroy space to do that.” (How thoughtful.)
The new Attorney General of the U.S. Loretta Lynch made this tepid observation: “Those who commit violent actions in protest of the death of Freddie Gray do a disservice to his family.”
Consider these “disservices”: Fifteen police officers have been injured, some with broken bones, one unresponsive, others in serious condition. Rioters cleaning out gun stores, check cashing establishments burglarized, liquor stores plundered, and cars loading up with booty from supermarkets. Cutting fire hoses being used to extinguish fires. Trashing patrol cars.
Then there are the “disservices” committed by the Black Guerrilla Family, Crips and Blood, National Action Network, Nation of Islam, New Black Panther Party, the FTP, and other gangs.
With bands of mobsters joining the fracas it could get worse—-a lot worse. Police have used tear gas, pepper spray, and rubber bullets. They failed.
What’s next? Maybe Long Range Acoustic Devices (LRAD).
A LRAD is an acoustical device that broadcasts powerful sound waves at distances of up to 1,000 feet. The frequencies can be low, reverberating in the chest cavity making breathing difficult or high, causing auditory pain even permanent hearing damage.
These devices are mounted on jeep-like vehicles, driven where needed, and immediately used. They have been employed in six American cities, Baltimore could be the seventh.
America, America. Whatever happened to my homeland of only a few yesterdays ago? Looking at the turmoil and wreckage of so many once beautiful cities reminds this writer of marveling at the crumbled temples of ancient Egypt. How marvelous they were, even in their ruins.
Sincerely,
Bob Scroggins
