Mr. Marc Weisgold, Elementary Principal at the Elk Lake School, is pleased to announce the December, 2014 Student of the Month Award winners.

Students in kindergarten, first, second grades were selected by their homeroom teachers. Students may be selected as student of the month from four different areas. Those four areas are academic achievement, attendance, citizenship and most improved.
Elk Lake is proud of their students and congratulates them for their accomplishments.

The State University of New York at Potsdam recently named Matthew Cameron of Brackney, PA to the SUNY Potsdam Dean's List.
Cameron, whose major is Geology, was among 391 students who were honored for academic excellence in the Fall 2014 semester.
